OMG... We had an orange and white medium hair male cat at the shelter and the volunteers named him CROOKSHANKS! I almost adopted him for myself but someone else did. When I told people I wanted to adopt a cat name Crookshanks, they all gave me weird looks, like, why would you name a cat THAT? Some people just don't understand.

If you ARE in the market for a Crookshanks, they are orange and white domestic long hair persians. (Talk about a lot of fur.)

We toyed witht he idea of getting a scottish terrier for the sole purpose of naming it Professor McGonagall. We read that they weren't very child friendly,so we didn't.
