This is exactly why I'm escaping to the bay area this weekend. I get the afternoon sun AND have an upstairs apartment. I need reprieve.

Re: Its fricken Hot!

Heck yeah! One step closer to my evil plan...

...to fry an egg on the sidewalk. It's even warming up here in WA, which is surprising. No rain, heck yeah!

Same here...Washington doesn't exactly have summer, hence the fry-an-egg plans being saved for August when I go back to school in TX. That's sad, summer begins when I go back to school?! Arrgh.

This thread really makes me want a niiiice, warm breakfast burrito or something.

I'll be in Hayward... hella close by! My parents have been saying it's like at most, 80 degrees there.

Not quite true. The west side of Washington doesn't have summer. Here in the TriCities its supposed to be over 100 next week. Glad I'm going to the coast!

It never gets hotter than 90 in Hawaii. God bless the tradewinds for making sure of that.

Ugh... South Carolina can get pretty bad too. I was there for vacation a few times. You'd shower in your air conditioned hotel room, then step outside and instantly be sweaty. It was gross.

mmmmm...that sounds good! I'm still waiting on my mother-in-law to send me some tortilla mix. I can't get it here in upstate NY...where it's also in the 90's! Everyone keeps telling me: You're from TX, you should be used to the heat! They don't realize in TX everyone has central AC so we don't really have to deal with it!

Ya know, that brings up a good point...I don't remember the last time I was in a non-airconditioned building, or a car that didn't have A/C standard...up in NY or Washington State that's probably less common...
