Question For Girls With Straight Hair
So lately, the weather has been really humid and rainy...and my hair is not cooperating. I have this Pantene smoothing creme that I use to make my hair shiny and smooth...and it works good for about an hour...and then BAM...FRIZZ!!! At the end of the night, my hair always end up in a ponytail. Do any of you use smoothing, shine-enhancing stuff that helps to keep your hair sleek thoughout the whole day?

I'm a big fan of Matrix Sleek. (It comes in orange bottles.)
I have wavy hair so that stuff works wonders if I use it with a flat iron.

Also Paul Mitchell has something called Super Skinny (I think) it is a serum product, smells GREAT and works wonders.

I have that stuff. I've never used the serum stuff, because it comes with the super skinny shampoo that I use. It does reduce my blow drying time. My hair is poker straight naturally.

TIGI Hair Products
Tigi has some really good products. Check out the website, and you can click on the products to find out more about them. They are only sold in salons, however.......

I tried this stuff when I first saw it advertised. It works, but made my roots look greasy so I had to stop using it.

When I'm drying my hair, I use Biolage Smoothing Shine Milk. After my hair is dry, I use the Paul Mitchell Instant Shine. It usually will keep my hair from getting fly-aways.
It takes forever to do my hair all nice so I usually only do all this when I'm going out somewhere. I don't care when I go to work. I usually end up throwing my hair in a ponytail by the end of the workday because it gets so stringy.

See my hair is a bit on the dry side, so I didn't really notice it too bad... but if I put too much on my roots, it gets a little slick.

I use John Frieda Frizz Ease Secret Weapon. It works sometimes but since it is so freakin' humid in NYC, and my hair is really thick, it also usually ends up in a pony tail by the end of the day. The shine stuff always makes my hair look really greasy so I try not to use it too much.

I use this every day on my hair. I live by the beach, so it's a little humid here when it's hot, but maybe not as humid as where you are. Anyway, this totally reduces your drying time and keeps frizz at bay!

I forget the brand name, but it's something called "hair gloss." It''s clear, gooey stuff about the consistency of lip gloss, you put a nickel size drop on your hands and smooth it through damp hair (do the same on dry for a quick touch-up). Actually, I think the brand is "Shine" you can find it at any Sally's.

I usually HATE using hair products, but I swear by Garnier Fructis Smoothing Milk- I put it in my hair after getting out of the shower, brush it through, and blow dry... and it is a foolproof plan to having the perfect hair day (for me, anyway)!

Ever since I permed my hair (around 4 years ago), my hair hasn't been the same. I have naturally straight hair, but to keep the frizzies at bay, I use bain de terre Recovery Complex Anti-frizz shine serum. I put a dime size portion in my hair after I take a shower and it works wonders. Leaves my hair shiny and sooo soft.
