1. When I go to see an R rated movie, I'm either going by myself or with one other person. When I go see a G rated movie, I'm taking me, both kids, a friend for each of them.. blah blah blah.
2. More people are allowed to see G rated movies (and they've done a good job with a lot of them lately, to make them appealing to adults too).
3. They weren't clear whether they were just talking about movie tickets sold as revenue or all the licensing/promo money they get from toys, action figures, happy meal toys, DVDs, etc. More G-rated movies are probably purchased on DVD because kids want to watch the same movie 500 times a week, then they switch. I suspect that it includes the royalties from all the other stuff and not just ticket sales.
