Shocking things found on myspace

What shocking things have you found out about from OLD (like someone you haven't seen in at least three years) friends/exes/enemies?

Last night, I was just searching for any name that came to my mind. I stumbled one someone's page who used to know from Campus Crusade for Christ. She tried to get me closer to the Lord. She talked me into going to more bible studies and pointed out my "heathen" ways. I thought her profile piture was weird because the girl had red hair (she's brunette and said she would never dye her hair). It looked like she was at some bar and was standing with some guy. I looked more closely at the picture and found out the guy was HER! Yep, she's a drag king now and almost sure that she has a girlfriend, judging by the rest of her pictures. My mouth hanged open for like three minutes.

Now, I'm not judging her negatively and she should do what she wants to do. But, it was surprising because she claimed to have issues with homosexuality.

lol...perfect timing on this thread:P I was roaming around myspace looking at ppl's profile's that I hadn't seen in awhile, and all of a sudden i read "omg, we're engaged and we're moving into our trailer this weekend. Oh, and my twin sister just had a baby boy" and I just found it hilarious since the were like...the straight A students who we never expected it to happen to, lol.

From facebook:

I've confirmed or found out the homosexuality of three people - none were that big of a surprise.

I've confirmed multiple breakups of relationships...

Found out about probably 5 - 6 engagements

Had 3 of those engagements get broken off

Found out one wedding I thought was this summer turn out to be last summer.

Found about 1 pregnancy

Discovered that one girl "lost" her baby (the smart bet is on an abortion) by looking at her pictures and seeing her drinking at the bars.

* 2 girls from HS are now lesbians (never suspected it).

* 1 guy from HS is now gay (totally knew it though, but Myspace confirmed it).

*1 girl from HS who was once overweight and kind of punk, is now gorgeous and appeared as one of Maxim's "Hometown Hotties". I'm really happy for this girl.

* 2 girls from the class after me are engaged.

* 1 girl I was on Prom Court with went to Turkey with the Ohio National Guard. She now lives in Atlanta, is married, has a nice house, and is one of the hottest club/party promoters in the area. We're making plans to meet up.

* 2 girls in my graduating class are pregnant right now. They both have minimum wage jobs and live in trailors.

* 1 girl I graduated with is married to a Marine, has 2 kids, and lives in Camp Lejeune, NC.

* The majority of the "popular guys" that I graduated with still live here in Akron, live together in a house downtown, work minimum wage jobs, and get drunk every night.

I'm pretty sure that's the standard! Alot of the guys who hung out in "The clique" are still ALLL friends, the only new friends they've made are from around the area (Downriver), and they still go out to the bar every night to get wasted. OH same thing with the popular girls, except the bar thing but most of them did gain a LOT of weight. HA. (this makes me glad to have joined a sorority... instead of being stuck up my high school friends' asses, I met a ton more people outside this area. Thank God.)

My cousin was looking at this guy's profile. He was a friend on another one of our cousin's myspace. She realized that in one of his pictures, he was participating in a skeet.

I don't know if the getting wasted thing is related to not going to college. I know some recent grads who only slowed down slightly with their drinking. They may not party that much on week nights, but they make it up on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and holidays, lol.

There is a group of guys from my HS that are like this HOWEVER... they don't all live in the area we grew up in anymore, they just take road trips to visit each other and take vacations together. I actually find it kinda cool because there is no group of girls from my HS that large (it's a group of about 8 guys or so) that did the same thing and has kept in touch after moving apart and everything. Quite a few people have gotten fat already which is interesting, because I've actually lost A LOT of weight since HS.

Ditto. Or have "Not Sure", although I think it's more for attention then anything.

Oh I forgot to include how I found about a rash (like 4 or 5) of couples who got engaged...the thing being that each person went to my HS and not one of the couples dated during HS. I thought that was weird, but then again, I went out of state and met new people...

I have only found one person from my HS graduating class. She has very little info on her profile and no picture. I know secondhand that she got married- my mother read it in a local magazine from the hometown.

Anyhow, I think I would be a bigger shocker to them than any of them would be to me. I have a lot of friends and a nice figure now. And I ended up in a field that, though intuitive, was not what I was being steered towards. I used to be the class nerd, was slightly overweight, had few friends, and everyone thought I was going to become a scientist. I do not think anyone would be particularly surprised that I am so into anime and related hobbies- though it is not an interest any of them shared with me.

I did find a few girls from other graduating classes of my HS, but none of them have anything out of the ordinary in their profiles. I would still be the square peg in the round hole, even though now I am more fashionable and sociable than back then.
