plans this weekend?
Its the weekend after Memorial Day so pools are open and (if you're lucky) the weather is nice.
Whats everyone up to?
On Saturday some friends are doing an "around the world" party where we walk to each other's houses to have one signature drink and then move on again. I want to have everyone out on my deck if the weather permits.
I think I'm going to make a Planter's Punch for my house drink. I mostly decided on that one since sangria is taken and I found a recipe that includes 18 servings.
Sunday I anticipate laying on the couch all day and recuperating from drinking 9 different types of alcohol. Entourage has its season premiere that night so I'll have a date with HBO while I'm at it.

If the weather is actually nice, I'm going to Helen, GA with some friends to go tubing and drink a lot of beer! It's a small town in Northeast Georgia that looks like a Swiss town in the Alps. Lot's of good German food and beer.
But, I haven't seen the sun in over a week and the weather report doesn't look good so far for the weekend so we most likely will have to wait until the weekend after.

Helen is a beautiful town! Very pretty mountain area---I spent some time ther eone summer a few years ago.
I've got a wedding to sing in on Saturday evening. Yes, one of my sorority sisters is getting hitched. It's a good opportunity to see the girls I haven't seen since I graduated.....
Hopefully it won't rain; it poured at another wedding I went to last Sunday! But it was still beautiful, and they still got married!

Friday I will probably drive out to Long Island for dinner with my boyfriend.
Saturday I have a TON of paperwork to catch up on between my 2 jobs. This is also the day I have to go to the bank to take out my rent, as well as pay all my bills online.
Sunday I am planning to take my dog to doggie bootcamp. I have never taken him for training yet and I figured it's about time. The weather is supposed to be really nice that day and the bootcamp is cheap, donations only.
Sorry I don't have a very exciting life.

AND, you can visit the Cabbage Patch Kid Factory....Mr. Silver stood with folded arms and a frown as a young "Cabbage Patch nurse" yelled, "Push, Mother cabbage, push."
Silver
Good grief...my 1000th post was about Cabbage Patch Kids? Oh, dear.

Girls night tomorrow, some of the girls in the NYC alumnae group & some others....we're seeing a movie and probably grabbing a drink or two afterwards.
Saturday, probably heading outside to do a little thank you note writing (which I'm really behind on) and some lesson plans for next week. Saturday evening possibly dinner with the BF, and a going away party for a teacher friend who's leaving to teach in Japan soon.
Sunday, meeting the same group of girls for brunch at Dos Caminos! YUM

Sea World ('cause it's free) on Saturday, then work on Sunday.
Since i've seen all the shows, I will probably spend the entire day with a friend on the (two) rollercoasters and the waterpark.
