Who We’re Looking For
Freshman, sophomore, junior and senior women are encouraged to apply for membership in Alpha Xi Delta. We’re looking for women with enthusiasm, leadership potential, strong academic skills and campus involvement to help us get our new chapter off to a fantastic start! Since Alpha Xi Delta’s strength lies in our diversity, we’re looking for women with a wide variety of interests, backgrounds and talents. Everyone has something to offer in Alpha Xi Delta!
What it Means to be a Member of Alpha Xi Delta
Only a select group of women can say they’ve helped reestablish a campus sorority. By joining Alpha Xi Delta at the University of Kentucky, you can be one of these women! One of the many benefits of joining Alpha Xi Delta is that you’ll have the opportunity to hold an office your very first semester. You can determine chapter goals, set campus traditions, plan chapter activities and truly shape the direction of Alpha Xi Delta at the University of Kentucky.
What You Can Expect as a New Member
As a new Alpha Xi Delta member, you’ll learn about our sisterhood, our symbols and the 10 young women who founded Alpha Xi Delta more than 100 years ago. You’ll also participate in retreats, develop strong bonds with new friends and have social functions to get to know members of other Greek groups on campus.
Want more information about Alpha Xi Delta’s history, scholarships and programs? Download Alpha Xi Delta’s Bonds of Sisterhood.

The Problem with the Internet...
is that cached information can look current. Sadly, this is the notice that we posted back in 2001 when we recolonized without ultimate success (thank heaven it referenced Betsie, who's now married and living in Michigan -- I thought I was going crazy there for a minute!). As a member of our extension committee, I can confidently say that we're not currently planning a return to UK, much as we'd like to be there again someday! Thanks for the good thoughts, though!

I was curious as to why there wasn't an announcement on our national website about this.
