Help my HAIR!!

Does ANYONE know of a good hair person around Nyack, NY (Piermont, Spring Valley, New City, Pearl River, Suffern, etc.)

My hair is getting out of hand in the back and now it looks a bit like it's trying to be a long mullet. Well, maybe not that, but it is completely out of hand!

My four questions for new hair people:

1. Are all the stylists licensed?
2. How often do the stylists have training?
3. Do they use straight razors with most hair cuts?
4. How much is a haircut?

HELP MY HAIR!

Come on out to Denver and I'll introduce you to my daughter. She does a lot of the local TV people.

Answers -- at least here.

1) Yes
2) At her "spa" about twice a month.
3) Not at her place. Mostly real sharp scissors. Sometimes razors.
4) Depends on the shop.

In London last week, we passed the place Princess Diana got her hair done. There is a three month waiting list to get and appointment and a haircut is 400 pounds. At the current exchange rate, that's just over $800.

Yes, in NYS all beauticians should be licensed. A good cut usually costs me in Queens about $40-$50.00. When I add highlites, it is usually around $150 or more. I've had both scissors and razor on my hair. I guess it depends on your pref.
