Brag Thread!!
I thought we could use a thread so we could tell our sisters and PNMs about cool things happening to us! You can brag about anything here, sorority related or not.
I'll start.....
On Wednesday I got my acceptance letter to graduate school!! Yaay! I'll be beginning my quest towards a Master's in Counseling on January 10!

My husband and I moved into our new (to us) townhouse the friday after thanksgiving! This house we own- not a rental!!! I got to paint it, got new carpet, and hubby installed a new closet system just for me yesterday! And a really cool thing- we are right next door to our best friends from college (fellow APOers)!
Now I have to get ahold of nationals to find a chapter in the area.
amgn- CONGRATS on your acceptance to grad school!!

An attempt to revive the brag thread....
I got my first big grad school paper back on Tuesday. I worked really hard on it, but really wasn't sure how I did. I got it back with an A-! Yippee!!

Erich and I are buying our first house. We put an offer on a place on Monday, had it accepted on Tuesday, and started the mortgage paperwork this morning.
The house is in Providence, RI. We're estimating that we'll move in around early June, since the house closing is scheduled for the end of April (and we need to give a month's notice). Once we're settled in there, I'll be contacting the area BSP chapters in hopes of finding a sisterhood home.

Oh, congratulations, amgn & Measi
My turn to brag...we went for our second ultrasound, and our baby is doing great! Ten fingers, ten toes. A sweet little profile.
(Hey wait!...Did you guys know I am pregnant??)
Erica
P.S. I guess OLK members and Rosies already knew!

Thanks, everybody. Actually, we've decided not to find out the gender. It would be really fun to induct a legacy, but my intuition is saying "envoy!"

Oh... if anyone's interested...
I have current photos of the house we're buying. The decor is dated (we'll work on that gradually), but it's a very cute house...
Our first home-- yay!
If all goes as planned, we close on April 29th.

I would like to brag about my secret sister. Last week she took her Preceptor ritual and the whole chapter was able to watch. I actually held her 13 month old son while she participated in the ritual. It was pretty cool and I'm so proud of her!

Congrats on your ROJ!
It's a three bedroom house, but one of the bedrooms is VERY small. For now, we're going to use both of the secondary bedrooms as private puttering spaces.
