Anita Kerlin, Alpha Kappa-Bowling Green State University, has been named Director of Chapter Services, effective May 31, 2005. Anita most recently served as a Leadership Consultant for the Fraternity. She traveled extensively throughout the Northeast and also worked on a special assignment at Epsilon Beta-University of Kansas. As an undergraduate, Anita served her chapter as Vice President of Member Development, New Member Coordinator, and Sisterhood Coordinator. Her Bachelor of Arts Degree is in Communications in Theater.
Diane Gitt Birdwell, Beta Tau-Ball State University, has been named Assistant Director of Chapter Services, a new position at International Headquarters (IHQ), effective May 23, 2005. In this role, Diane’s primary responsibility will be the coordination of all aspects of the Fraternity’s Leadership Consultant and Leadership Advisor program. Diane joined the staff at IHQ in June 2002, as a Chapter Services Representative. She has served as Campus Relations Advisor for Beta Tau Chapter and currently serves as Treasurer of the Indianapolis Alumnae Club.
I met with Anita for dinner and drove her to her apartment in Toledo after she did a visit to one of our chapters that was near me. She's awesome and I think she'll do a great job! I don't know Diane personally, but I remember her as a CSR and she did a good job!
