Frostburg State TKE's

Just wanted to let you all know the Frostburg TKE's are an amazing group of men who really set the standard for fraternities. They finally recieved there charter a week ago friday, which is very much deserved. I know many of them and just wanted to give a qick congratulations to the TKE's as a whole for really setting the bar high and maintaining it.

Congrats to the Frostburg TKE's, you guys are awesome!

DZ love,
Dawn

Its a a new group all together. How did you know about the local and all that jazz? The guy who reinstated TKE is a TKE from George Mason, he's a great guy and just wanted to bring back a strong chapter.

Oh, I used to sort of date a guy who was a member of that local and he told me about it. He claimed to be a TKE...but when I saw his letter shirt, it had Epsilon Phi on it and I was really confused. His explanation was that his fraternity really was TKE but they didn't have a charter anymore so they had to change the letters, but apparently all this went down way before his time so he had no connection to TKE whatsoever.

The old TKE call themselves alpha theta chi. That guy may not be an old TKE. How long ago did he graduate?

He didn't graduate. I can't even remember when he was initiated, but it had to have been around 2000 or so. That local has gone through quite a few name changes, because he has a party shirt that lists them all. I think they are called Alpha Theta Chi now, but they were Epsilon Phi or something like that when he was initiated. They certainly were not TKE at that time.
