Greek Symbols in Catalog
I get a lot of goofy catalogs, and recently received Nature's Jewelry ( www.naturesjewelry.com). It's costume jewelry, nothing expensive or "good", but I couldn't help but notice that there are items for just about every sorority mascot or symbol I know about! They even had a cute little "pink drink" change purse!
There are also a lot of pink ribbon breast care items, patriotic items, celtic items, and t-shirts/change purses/socks, etc.
Some items represented are:
Violets, Magnolias, LIONS, Koalas, Sailboats, Pansies, Irises, Butterflies, Lady Bugs, Poodles, Owels, Roses (pink & red), Dolphins, Anchors, Turtles, Pandas, Frogs, Stars & Crescents, Giraffes, Mooses (moosi?), Elephants, Teddy Bears, Dragons, Lambs, Hearts, Angels, Music Notes, etc.
Enjoy!

I adore that catalog! It's got so much stuff that could be Greek that I find myself going through it thinking things like, "This DZ I know would love these pink and green rose socks"..."That owl zipper pull is perfect for my daughters"..."Wow, lilies of the valley jewelry, should I let the AEPhis on GC know?"
Plus we've found some unique items for recruitment--the kind that make you memorable to the chapters but aren't stupid. For my last daughter's recruitment, she and I found some earrings in butter-colored amber that looked so cool with her very tan skin.

I received that squirrel coin purse as a gift from our IVP-E last year! She said she'd gotten it on E-bay. Hmm!
I want the socks, and I want them for all my Presidents too!

I seriously considered calling them "Bullwinkles", because I thought they were moose, but it just didn't sound right...

I just read this and automatically thought of the KMart Catalog. They are having a sale on a pink and green jewelry set. It has the earrings and a necklace. The stone are teardropped shaped and are mainly green, but have pink up at the top. They are really cute! lol, just had to add that!
