Exclamation Yahoo Virus - Very Important

I'm not sure who all on GC use Yahoo IM. This is what happened to me and another friend Monday. I log on to my IM and a message pops up from a friend of mine, asking me to check out their yahoo page. There is a link provided, when I clicked on the link, it gave me an "error" page, page couldn't be found. I IM them back saying I couldn't see the page.

Well what happened the next morning is that I am unable to log into my yahoo account. My password has been changed, without my request. What we've found out is that some virus is sending IM messages to folk on your address book (or something) asking them to click on their yahoo page, which does not exist.

My friend called me last night asking me if I got her IM and I had to tell her that I didn't IM her and that I hadn't been on Yahoo due to this situation. She explained to me that she tried to visit my website and it gave her an error page too.

So you all be careful. I have contacted Yahoo so many times yesterday, and they have not gotten back in touch with me. I hope they are able to mend this situation, because I have a lot of information in that account.

Oh wow, I didn't know this was real. I had gotten one of those "forwared IMs" about this, but I just deleted it thinking it was a hoak.

Hope your Yahoo gets back to normal treblk!

I remember logging on my IM Monday night with that message from you. I am so glad I ignored it. My rationale was surely she would have just told me on GC or via one of our e-mails.

Oh no CT4, it aint me. Frankie got it from me too and she opened it, and now she and I are on the same boat
I'm hella pissed, I'on even know what to do. Yahoo is being real lax about it too. I'm bout fed up with calling them with no results.
