Please say a prayer...

One of my chapter sister's mom was killed on Friday in a murder/suicide. Her boyfriend went to her place of work and killed her and then turned the gun on himself.

I'll get an address if anyone wants to send a card.

This situation has made me reflect on my mom's own death. It's hard, I can't help but be thankfull for knowing it was coming (though, for my mom's sake, I wish it was quick). I can't imagine what our sister is going through with now since her mom was taken with out warning.

I'm not in the loop as much since I've graduated, so I have not gotten to talk to the sister yet, but I know all the prayers that we can get will help.

I can't imagine much more horrible than losing a parent in such a violent manner. My sympathies and prayers, White Daisy, for your sisters and especially your one sister & her family.

I am too thru reading this. I am so sorry that your sister's mom got murdered by a COWARD (yeah, I said it! REAL MEN would not do something like this).

My sympathies and thoughts go with your sister, the chapter and her family.

HUGS

One of my chapter sisters went through the same thing, but her mother died in a much more ghastly manner.

My sympathy and prayers are with your sister.

Please, please keep an eye on her and make sure she gets counseling from a counselor that actually helps her. The issues she will have, herself and in her interpersonal relationships, are huge.

That is really horrible. I will definitely keep this family in my thoughts and prayers. I lost a parent "suddenly", but it was accidental, not through a violent crime.
