Local Sorority Convention - How was it?

I know there were a few GCer's who went to the Locals Convention this weekend. Tell us all about it!

I had a great time at the convention, it was wonderful to meet so many amazing women from locals across the country. Delta Rho did a great job planning and executing the convention. There were four speakers and a number of different break out sessions. All of the delegates from my chapter found it very helpful. The best part I think was meeting so many awesome women though. It was super-fab taking in the nightlife of Kansas City with women who we had just met, but seemed like our own sisters.

I've gotta give a shout out to the Zeta Omega Tau and Phi Rho girls, you were a riot.

Were the Phi Rho sisters from the Phi Sigma Rho Missouri-Rolla chapter? We have a great bunch of sisters at Missouri-Rolla chapter -- the chapter was a local sorority for over 10 years before affliating with Phi Sigma Rho!

The convention was a blast. It was such a great way to connect with sisters from other sororities that you can relate to!!!

Sigma Psi girls were a blast and a half and I hope that we will be able to party it up again!

PhiRhoSister - The Phi Rho's there where from somewhere in Indiana I believe. It was kind of confusing for me because my university has a Phi Sigma Rho chapter (Omicron, I think) and it felt odd calling another group 'Phi Rho'.

I totally agree with Karly it was so easy to relate to all of the other girls there. And everyone was so honest and quick to offer suggestions to improve other chapters. It was great to get new ideas from other chapters who have the same kind of obstacles.

Kappa Lambda Chi attended the conference at Kansas City. We all had a great time. The Delta Rho girls we great. We went to the small BBQ we had, and we all had a great time! We are looking forward to a another great year!

We would like to hear from some of the other sororities we met. I hope you young ladies are doing good.

I just read about this convention...do they have them all over the country?? How do you find out about them??

Are there going to be any in the midwest this year??

I'm sorry for so many questions but my sorority sisters and i really want to grow as a sorority...if you girls have answers to any of these questions it would be great!
