What type of reprecussions is expected for changing your mind sororities within HBGO.

I have a friend of mine whom was attending a college on the east coast decided to join a HBGO sorority. She put in her application, went through the interview process and was voted in. After she put in her paperwork and so forth, she then decided that she was no longer intrested and decided not to continue with that particular organization. She now attends a college in the south and was spoken to me several times about joining a different HBLO sorority.I am concerned because I have heard of the term "black balled"which is a possibility in her situation due to the circumstances. My concern is is this acceptable? Will she get black balled? Should she let the members of the sorority members that she currently is showing intrest the truth about what happened at her previous school? What advice would you suggest?

I'm not trying to be smart or anything...

But what is an example of an HBLO? I have heard of HBGOs BGLOs and even HLGOs but never an HBLO, and I went to school in the South. I am always willing to learn, though

You can't give her any advice. She needs to figure this out on her own. And black balled is not a recognized term within BGLOs, which is what I assumed you meant. Also what are replications? Did you mean repercussions?

I have some advice. Tell your friend that DISCRETION is key when pursuing BGLO membership. No one needs to know any of this information outside of the individual and the organizations concerned. Loose lips sink ships.

If the org that she has decided to pursue (now) is really in her heart, then she'll find a way. Having her friend to ask Greeks in general over the internet is not it.
