House

Does anyone watch House? It's the doctor show on Fox. Omar Epps and some people I don't know are on it.

Yes, I watch it - it's a pretty good show, I think.

I watch it too. The writers have some great one liners.

i haven't watched it at all.. i got too freaked out by the commercials during the MLB playoffs and Bill Simmons columns during them where he commented on the clip of the doctor yelling out "YOU'RE RISKING A PATIENTS LIFE!"

I've watched it a couple of times; it's not really bad or good. It's better than ER, in my opinion, but I think ER is too over-the-top now anyway.

What is the story with House? Is he sick or something? I missed the first few episodes.

Mr. AXiD670 and I watch this religiously. We love it!

He's not sick; he got some kind of blood clot in his thigh that wasn't diagnosed in time and now he's permanently in pain. That's why he's always popping vicodin.

I have to chime in because I've been recently sucked into this show. I think the writers are great and Vogler is an @$$hole... and now after this latest episode... so is Chase. And he is cute too.

I do get grossed out a bit by some of the knife-to-skin shots... which is weird because I'm an avid CSI viewer.

Odd tidbit: The actor that plays House (Hugh Laurie) was the dad in the Stuart Little movies.

HOUSE is produced (and was twice directed) by Bryan Singer, known for the X-Men movies, the upcoming Superman movie, and The Usual Suspects. There have been 8 writers according to the IMDB, with some sharing writing duties on the eps.

But ohhhh, yesssss... it's one to watch. Hugh Laurie's line delivery is sharp, sarcastic, and passionate. I love Laurie, Epps, and Edelstein. I sometimes wonder about Robert Sean Leonard-- he just looks a little *old*, compared to when he was in Dead Poets society. Maybe it's just that his hair looks a little too red sometimes.

It's awesome seeing Chi McBride in action again. I enjoyed Boston Public until half of the main cast left, and the first season with the one kid from New Kids... after that, the show stank, but McBride always did a fine job.
