Philanthropy Fundraiser

Hey thetas! i'm a member of the eta theta chapter at UCF. We just had our first fundraiser and raised over $1400 for CASA. I just thought i'd let all the theta's know how well we did for our first fundraiser.

Wow Megan,
Congratulations and keep up the good work!! We had our fundraiser for CASA called Crawfish on the Clover last Sunday. As I'm sure you can guess, it is a crawfish bowl with live music and it was a huge sucess!! I don't know exact numbers yet, but last year we gave about $8,000 and this year we are hoping to give even more. This is our main fundraiser.

Wow over $8000 that's great. Theta was new to UCF last yr so this was our first fundraiser for CASA. We're just trying to see what brings good crowds out and stuff. Our philanthropy chair did an awesome job putting the fundraiser together. We're still working hard on everything. I love theta.
