partial recruitment

hey y'all I am a Delta Zeta at the University of New Orleans. And normally every fall we have formal recruitment, but greek affairs has decided to try a new rush called partial recruitment. We are a smaller campus, its a commmuter college w/ 4 sororities and 4 fraternities. If anybody body has any experience or stories or ideas for parties, i would appericate it if you would let me know!!!!Thanks!!!!

DEE ZEE luv,
Erin

Hi...I go to Morehead State University, that also has a small greek community and we have always done formal recruitment, but we also switched to a partially structured recruitment and I am the recruitment chair for my chapter and all of the chairs from each sorority on campus meets every other week to discuss plans and where to have events because we dont have many places to choose from. I know that here at MSU we have to stay within a budget and usually we just pay for the Potential New members during open events, but with this new recruitment, we have to pay for actives and pnm's. So what I would suggest is hold events on campus in buildings and hold an informational day or different activities like that. Just plan like it was open recruitment.

Hope that helps!
