Yesterday was the most exciting day ever! We had our last day of Spring Recruitment, and had a tea at one of our sister's house, and right when we were wrapping up, one of our advisors called to tell us that they were on their way over with the S.H., S.M., the Executive Director and a Regional Director!
We were all pretty flustered and nervous, and when they got there everyone was downstairs, I had just walked in, and turned around to see everyone! So I got to be the first to introduce myself and chat with S.H. Jean Mrasik for a few minutes! She was incredibly warm and friendly, I didn't feel uncomfortable at all, it really was just like meeting another sister!
They all came downstairs to where we were all sitting and talked for a little while about their trip here to DC (checking things out for next convention) and what they do in their positions, and we got the chance to ask a bunch of questions. We got a huge group picture and the best part was that we were all dressed in either all black or red for Recruitment, so I can't wait to see how it turns out! And, they all passed their badges and rings around and they were absolutely gorgeous!
I just wanted to share the exciting news, hearing their stories made me so proud to be a part of this organization and I really can't wait until Convention 2006!
