Nebraska Delt Memorial

Thought I should share this with the GC community.

It's been almost two years since the death of Bob Foehlinger, a member of Delta Tau Delta at Nebraska. Bob truly was a great individual, a guy that created nothing but love around him.

On March 4th, students from the University of Nebraska will be having a spaghetti feed to raise money for the Bobby Foehlinger fountain as part of a renovation to the Wick Alumni Center. The fountain is to cost approximately $50000.

Bob was an amazing guy, and while I never really got a chance to really meet him, we had some mutual friends, and I have never heard a bad word about him. The amount of praise for his life is never-ending, and his death definitely hit the UNL campus, and many of my friends very hard. Please consider donating even just 5 dollars to the memory of this very amazing guy.

I recall an excellent article on Mr. Foehlinger's life in the Nebraska Magazine last year.

The fountain at Wick will be a nice tribute to a remarkable man.

I was in a different Delt chapter here in Nebraska so I didn't know Bob. My girlfriend, however, was on the flag team and knew him and his sisters. She has always said nothing but good things. I'm sure she'll be happy that a memorial is being made to him.
