quick question

Hey guys, what's up? I'm sure a few of you have seen the topic in the AKA forum about the name "nupe". http://www.greekchat.com/forums/ubb/...ML/001714.html
Anyway, she obviously, not unlike myself, didn't know what a nupe was, or where to find out. She asked in the AKA forum, and they said to do a search, which she did, but found nothing. Anyway, I probably WAS out of line in the way I posted, considering it IS an AKA forum. Anyway, would my answer not be good enough, at least as far as a term Kappa's use for each other? I'm not sure what was "incorrect" about my answer, and I don't care to know what it means, but for people that have no idea what it is, I'd think that my answer, or some form thereof, perhaps along with it's a secret, would be enough for people to say, "oh cool, thanks, talk to ya later" I would've posted that and an apology for my response in the AKA forum, but they closed the thread, and I didn't feel like opening up a can of worms by posting on a topic that had just been closed

BTW, if you're just going to say none of your business, that's cool. If there are no replies, I'll get the hint. I'm not trying to step on any toes, which I know I HAVE done before. Also, if you want to email me personally, feel free. corbin@greenpride.com

With all due respect RainMan, he asked members of Kappa Alpha Psi, Fraternity what a NUPE was. To the best of my knowledge, you are not one. If I am in error, please let me know. But it would be appreciated that if someone asks "us" a question and we chose not to respond, they get the point, we don't need you to "try" to answer questions that you don't know the answer to, and have no concept of.

I have been gone for a hot minute, what the hell is going around here?

Hey MN, don't worry about it, he didn't tell me anything I didn't already figure myself. If it's wrong, it's wrong, but I'm satisfied. I didn't care what a nupe was, as you can see by my original post. I just wanted to know if what I thought was an acceptable answer. No offense intended here. I do appreciate no replies much more than negative replies, and they both give the same idea thanks.

The answer, at least in it's very basic context, really did not take rocket science to figure out, which was the response I gave Corbin.

I can respond to anyone's question via email. As far as what I do and do not know regarding any organization as far as others are concerned is purely up for speculation. I will say that I know MUCH more about the NPHC orgs then most Greeks will give me credit for. Thus, no one can say WITH CERTAINTY what I do and do not know about any org.

Rest assured, however, that all the information I gave Corbin was from publicly accessible sources and/or told to me by brothers. The integrity of your org was in no way compromised. Please do not hold it against me that I did my research. After all, isn't that what you want non-Greeks to do?

Bottom line, I reserve the right to email responses to anyone's inquires, be it right, wrong, or indifferent.

The bottom line is not whether you or any other "NON-NUPE" THINKS he or she knows what the word "Nupe" means. The bottom line is it is NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS.

Even though brothers may not be sure of what you know. WE KNOW ABOUT THIS....

Since researching is your thing, why don't you get a scroll, hold a brick, get in the KUT, and stand on a wall like the rest of us. And maybe after a hold SEMESTER (not a few days) of struggle you can grasp the concept of what a nupe is (like I did). If not, let a NUPE handle the question.

You are right. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out. It takes more than a rocket scientist. It takes a NON-Skater. It takes a NON-Hater. It takes a NON-Faker. And last, but certainly not least, it takes a NON-Eternal Scroller to figure out the answer to that question. Because if you didn't cross my sandz you can't tell me, or anybody else (including Corbin), sh!$ about what a NUPE is.

Greetings Brothers of Kappa Alpha Psi, Fraternity, Inc.! Forgive me for butting in, but I have to comment on this.

RM, you wonder why some/most of the NPHC greeks on GC blow off what you have to say? It's because of mess like this. Fine & good you know the generally accepted public answer but the point of the matter is Corbin directed his inquiry to the Nupes & fully understood that he may not get an answer. I understand you wanted to be helpful, but why advertise that you e-mailed Corbin? I'm sure he checks his e-mail and would have figured it out on his own. You asked for the responses you received, point blank. You want us to respect you yet you blatently disregard how we operate. I don't give a darn whether you agree with it or not, you cannot change it from the outside. And if you keep acting the way you are, you'll never again be extended the opportunity to change it from the inside. It doesn't matter what you've been through, the fact of the matter is you don't wear the letters Kappa Alpha Psi.
