Attack in Iran?
What the hell is going on today? Something about a missile attack in Dailam?

Hopefully it's not a nuclear meltdown or something big.

A lot of possibilities here and not many that are good.

Israel maybe? Just a guess, but that's how they dealt with the Iraqis and their nuclear weapons program when no one else was strong enough to do so.

False alarm, no attacks in Iran.

One of our clients, a Persian (he will correct you if you call him Iranian) who is intimately involved in some of the resistance politics back in Iran told me today that he thought it very well might have been some kind of Iranian resistance, or something of that nature. The political climate in that country is extremely tense from what I understand.

Some of my relatives consider themselves to be Persian Jews not Iraqi, so it's a common identity switch.

He's not Jewish though. He seems to be a fairly liberal Muslim.

I spoke to my aunt who lives in Tehran on Sunday and she was telling me that the people there have pretty much accepted the fact that there will be an attack by the US in the summer.

The Persians that I know (we have several clients that are Persian) are all extremely opposed to the current government. Are the people in Tehran the same way?
Would they welcome an invasion? Or would we see the same kind of thing that we're seeing in Iraq now?
I guess I can be somewhat thankful that I'll be past the draft age this summer.
