Ideas needed for assignment!

I'm working on an assignment for an event management course I'm taking. For this project, I'm supposed to be looking for sponsors for a charity event and I need to contact three potential groups. The event is a fundraising dinner/dance for a women's shelter, and so far, I have two sponsors in mind. One is The Body Shop, which has historically been very active in women's causes and the other one is the radio station where the host of this event works (I'm going to ask for concert tickets to auction off, as well as a tour of the station and a chance to go on-air live!). I'm kind of stuck on a third sponsor. I've looked into banks in the area, but they don't generally donate/sponsor groups that are affiliated with the United Way. I had also thought of Club Monaco, but their website no longer has any information on the program where they donate end of season clothes to shelters. The sponsors have to be real places and be related to the cause in one way or another. The event is real, but I'm not really planning it. Does anyone have any ideas? This assignment is due Monday (yeah, I know, it's last minute).

Thanks!

There's no Target in Canada. The instructor says that it has to be a place that has stores/locations here, even though we aren't planning the event for real.

Do you think job search websites are a good idea for sponsorship? Workopolis.com, for example, offers tips on resume writing. Perhaps they know of people who can help the women in shelters polish off good resumes and cover letters so they could be independent. Many women using shelters haven't held jobs before or haven't held jobs in a long time.

That's a good idea. What about some of the large restaurant chains as well as other stores? (I'm not sure what is in Canada).

The real event is being held in a banquet hall that has in house catering. Restaurants are probably not exactly such a great idea. Stores, yes, maybe, but how are they related to women's shelters? Clothing stores seem to support causes like cancer or children's charities more than women's shelters.

What about a Day spa and resort?

It would be really good PR for them, and they would donate services to be acutioned off. These types of places down here in the south have always came through for me with events.

I know that I am more apt to have services done at a place that sponsors women and are active in the community.
