I need your help!! I moved here from TX 1 1/2 years ago, and was lucky to be recommended to a girl for hair cutting who is pretty good. I went to her when she was at Salon A; followed her to Salon B when she moved there, and had an appointment with her for this Friday. Last night I get a call from Salon B saying she had quit and did I want to keep my appt. Then, I get a call from the girl herself saying she moved to Salon C, gave me the number, etc. I don't know anything about Salon C( are they good, how expensive are they, etc), and can't decide if I should follow her there again. Last time she cut my hair, she cut my bangs too short and I was kind of pissed, but other than that haven't had any problems with her. She's also pretty good at highlights.
However, this is the 2nd time "her boss was an ass" and she moved salons. That, combined with my bangs being cut too short last time, and not knowing jack about Salon C, make me hesitant to follow her. But as my husband said, she doesn't have to be a nice person, she just has to cut your hair well.
So my question for the Raleigh girls is this: what salons would you recommend in case I decide not to follow my girl? I don't want to have to search through salons ( and the potential of bad haircuts) to find one I like.
