Recruitment Infractions

I did a search on this but didnt find what I was looking for. I'm curious how other campuses handle recruitment infractions. What are the penalties chapters face?

recruitment infractions and their consequences are ordinarily listed in your campus panhellenic by-laws. sometimes there are monetary fines, sometimes community service hours or forfeiture of social privileges. each campus would be slightly different.

Try searching the regular internet (not just GC) with the words "recruitment infraction sorority" (without quotes) and you'll get a bunch of hits.

ours are brought to the Panhel Rush Chair and then consequently brought to the United Greek Governing Board

Ours vary depending on the seriousness. However most our monetary fines and in my opinion are not given out fairly.

One organization only got a $15 fine for talking badly about other chapters. This is the same amount another sorority received just for having a girl leave an event before it was allowed.

I'm pretty sure the way our system works is that we have monetary fines for each infraction, but after so many infractions you also have your social privaleges revoked. I this because two chapters on our campus had their privaledges revoked last semester because they had too many infractions. It can get pretty bad at my campus!
