The WORST TV Commercial

What TV Commercial do you just loathe?

I get sick EVERYTIME I hear 1-800-GO-YAFFA. That woman's voice is annoying and the commercial is stupid.

This is definitely a state by state, regional thing. Was in NY for Memorial Day and all their commercials look wierd.
Here in Chicago I HATE this insurance commercial, called Eagle Insurance.

The old Shake-N-Bake commercial that features the little girl w/ the missing tooth in the front, and her father(?) asks her who cooked the dinner, she says
"It's Shake-N-Bake and I helped!"
Then she gives this toothless grin for the camera...that commercial burns me up!!!

This is a rather old commercial, but you just gotta see how BAD it is.

It is from 1983 and features Mr. T for a car wax commercial called TR3. It looks like it was written and shot over someone's lunch break. Here is the clip to it (You must have Real Player to view, but it is worth it).

I hated this commercial too at first, but I think the company purposely makes the commercial super corny so that you remember them when you need cheap insurance because i know more than a handful of people who use it.

But personally all these lawyer commercial are annoying as well.

I loathe that Kool-Aid commercial (that I only see on BET) where the Aunt is doing a Kool-Aid analysis of everybody that walks the room.

I hate the 1-800 collect commercials w/ Mr. T because he is soooooooo played out.

girl, fareal!!! i'm sorry, i aint NEVER put fruit in/on my glass of kool-aid!! and, that kool-aid looks like crystal ice. my kool-aid has so much sugar and pineapple juice and whatever other festive drinks

i tell you a new commercial that i hate. it's for levi's superlow jeans and it features a bunch of navels singing "i'm coming out" it is so gross to me!! i do NOT want close-up shots of anybody's belly button!!!!

I think that commercial is HILARIOUS! It was sorta gross at first, but now I crack up every time I see it! LOL!

I can't stand that Kool-Aid commerical either. I mean, really, who does that? Analyzing Kool-Aid...

I also can't stand those commericals for either musicnow.com or some internet music thing. I know they had George Clinton on one of them. He had the headphones on and you're just staring at him while he's listening to music. Then he goes off and then it says "I'm listening" I can't stand those! I'm so happy I don't see them anymore.

I haven't seen that commercial yet, but did you know that the person singing "I'm Coming Out" is the girl that plays Meadow Soprano?

I saw the story about her & the commercial on Entertainment Tonight.

Girrrrrl!!! I cannot believe this. I've seen this commercial about 5 times in the past 2 days, and I actually thought to myself, "I wonder if they have a thread on GC about bad commercials?" No lie!! Talk about ironic. Anyway, YES that woman is most annoying!

"The Yaffa pasta strainer hooks onto your faucet... hanging in mid-air! Goooooooooooo Yaffa!!!!" LMAO!!

Those Progresso soup commercials that imply that if you still eat regular canned soup you are childish and need to grow up.Those commercials have annoyed me so much I will never buy a can of their soup.

I JUST made a comment to my husband about that Kool-Aid commercial. Isn't it stereotypical for "Black" people to be in a Kool-Aid commercial? I can't stand it.

Another commerical (well it's more of an infomercial) that I loathe is the hair-removing spray where they actually spray it on this man's "hairy-a**" BACK and then wipe the hair off. GRRROOOOSSSS!!!!! Oh yeah, it's called Epalspray (or something like that).

That Mr. T commercial is horrible too. That lil girl talking about "I pity da fool...." Mr. T must have needed the money pretty bad.

This might be a Chicago thing but...

Theres a food store called Moo and Oink. They mostle sell meat products but you can get other foods there as well. In the commercial they have their employees dressed up like cows and pigs. Its ridiculous.

There is also a restaurent called Harolds Chicken. The food is really good but you wouldn't think it by watching the commercial. The commercials are low budget and ghetto. Well maybe I shouldn't expect so much considering the restaurants are equally as ghetto as the commercial.
