I saw a link to an article on her passing on a news site- instead of saying "Rosemary Kennedy dead at 86" it said "Retarded Kennedy Sister dead at 86" there is such a thing as a little respect

Very sad - she really had an unbelievable life story. May she rest in peace.

I thought so, too. A mention of the reason Eunice Shriver got involved with Special Olympics could have appeared further down in the article.

Her sister is a member of my church so the priest asked us to pray for Rosemary Kennedy and her family.

Someone who wants to sell a lot of newspapers? It's all about the ALMIGHTY BUCK. (I do think it's a bit of a crass headline myself, but again, it's all about the ka-ching ka-ching.)
