They're pretty good...rich sound...they use pianos and violins and such. It's worth buying a track or 2 off iTunes to see if you like it. I know you're into jam bands and they don't have that sort of feel, but you might like them.

I enjoy experimental bands. My buddies told me about these guys and that they write great melodies. Is it true? Me love bands that actually worked on their melodies.

Well to be honest, I've only heard a few songs myself, but yes they are melodic.

They're in pretty high rotation here in Canada on our music stations... and I gotta admit their CD is the first I have bought in two years.

One of their videos should be available to view on the website of Much Music (Canada's version of MTV):

Anyways I have become a big fan - and their CD is the first into the car when I'm driving.

Just herd clips of the band. I like what I hear. They remind me as a hybrid of Sonic Youth, Radiohead and the Pixies.
