Hi Everyone,
I
highly recommend the Any Solider website. With this website, you can review the names and addresses of hundreds of soliders who would love to receive care packages or letters. You see their names, company/regiment name, branch of service, number of men and women in the unit, and what they need/want to have. The soldiers sometimes post personal updates and photos in their listing. The Any Solider website is awesome as it offers so much helpful advice on what to send, how to send, and where to send.

No matter which solider support service you choose to participate with, here's one really helpful tip. Though s/he is probably really grateful for what you send, your solider may not ever have a chance to write back to you. However, if you were really hoping for a reply, you can increase your chances by enclosing a self-addressed and stamped envelope with
your address on it along with your care package. Letters to and from APO or FPO addresses only require a regular 37¢ stamp, even if it's going to Iraq (or Japan, Germany, wherever). I did this and my solider wrote a wonderful letter back to me using the pre-stamped stationary I sent.
I hope this info helps!
