Robots with guns in the DMZ

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/4425689.stm

Quote:
South Korea's defence ministry is considering deploying robots armed with guns along its border with North Korea.
I couldn't help read this article and think of Terminator.

On another note, this is mentioned in the article:

Quote:
South Korea has been anxious to improve security on the border with the North since three holes were discovered in the frontier fence in October.

At first Seoul feared that North Korean agents had infiltrated the South, but officials eventually concluded that the holes had been made by a South Korean civilian defecting to the North.
Now who the hell really wants to go to North Korea that bad?

Yeah, my ass. All of a sudden this backwards country thinks it's become the center of some strange technological revolution.

Not unusual... the former East Germans used to set up unmanned machine guns on their Antifascistenschutzwall (anti-Fascist protection wall, their name for what we all know as the Berlin Wall).

Same word, different connotation.

Isn't Seoul the biggest TRP in the world?

Something like a million shells of artillary can drop down on it in the first 3 minutes a war is declared between the north and south.
