PDF Reader

I don't like adobe pdf reader anymore. The file takes way too long to load. Just wondering, are there any other pdf reader that is smaller and faster?

Foxit PDF reader

I don't know if it's any good because I've never tried it, but it works on Windows platforms. All of the other ones I'm familiar with are for UNIX.

ETA: Part of the reason opening PDFs is a slow business is because it's actually an image of a document. Graphics always take longer than text.

On Macs, there is the preview program that opens the files in less than a second.

I was having some problems not long ago and realized that I was working with an outdated version.

I downloaded 7.0 and it seems to be a little faster -- but the point about graphics taking longer is certainly true.
