Scent-diffusing Reeds

Has anybody tried these? I'd like to get a high quality set; the ones at the Christian bookstore and the Hallmark store are pretty expensive but does anyone know how well they work?

The Yankee candle ones work really well, in my opinion. Just need to swap the reeds after a few months (I think 6 is about average.)

I love these! IMO, the ones that work the best are the higher quality ones that uses essential oils (and not fragrance oils). I have one in my bathroom that has been going for at least 6 months and it still smells strong. Just be sure to turn the reeds over every month or so.

TJMAxx sells some them (the higher quality ones) at around $20 so that's a good place to start. I also tried this brand that I bought at a interior design store that was REALLY good. (I can't think of the name brand but it began with a W).

I have some from Target (lemongrass yummm) and from Loehmann's, some random higher quality brand, and loooove them. I flip the reeds every so often to keep scent strong too.

The Body Shop has those in Japanese Cherry Blossom and Cranberry. I own them both and love them. JCB is a wonderful floral scent and cranberry is a wonderful holiday scent.

I've seen some at Pottery Barn too that smelled pretty good in the store, but I dont know how long they last or do in a home.

I think they have them in store for you to smell before you buy. They really do scent my whole living room, dining room, and most of the hallway, but they arent overpowering either.

Today I searched the town for any of the brands y'all recommended and finally got the last set of Yankee Candle buttercream ones at Hallmark! Everybody else is out, apparently this is a huge big deal lately.

The oil smells luscious and I can't wait to turn the reeds over tomorrow.

You don't need to turn the reeds every day. I found every couple of weeks works just as well. Enjoy them!

After reading this I bought a set at Target for $12.99 in the amber scent. They don't work at all. The oil smells really good (the little bit that gets on my hands) but it does nothing to disperse scent throughout the room. I can't even smell it when I'm standing right next to it. So, I am going to try again with something better quality.

That's what I ran into with the first set--from Walmart. I shoulda known.

A couple of hours ago, I got my package of reeds from an eBay seller. I ordered a couple of Christmas scents plus Baby Powder. I'll let you know if they disperse scent well.

One of my daughters is expecting a baby so I can see this as a safe alternative to candles for the nursery--if I can hit on the right brand!

My cousin got lemongrass ones from Target and they don't smell like anything.

I have these in my dorm and I adore them.

I got mine at Bath and Body Works and they work wonders. It helps when your roommate isn't the cleanest person ever.
