Religious exchanges

A bunch of stories of people from different faiths spending time in another faith's place of worship.

ETA: The United Church of Canada was formed in the 1920s (or was it 1930s?) by joining the Methodist, Congregationist and about 70% of Presbytarian churches. It's the largest Protestant denomination in Canada.

That would be interesting.

I am Jewish but I like to go to religious services with my non-Jewish friends, to see how they do things. I've been to loads of Catholic masses and I've gone to Episcopalian and Methodist services too.

Done it a couple of times through highschool - the religion class required us to gain an understanding of other faiths (it was a Catholic school).

Recently my girlfriend has been exploring her mother's faith (Catholic) and has had a lot of questions about why things are done the way they are - she's Jewish.

The chapter has done it too recently... just so brothers can gain a greater understanding of each other - so we have had groups of brothers attend service in a church, mosque, temple, and shrine together...
