Happy Holidays!

Wishing all of my lovely sisters a safe and wonderful holiday season.

Does anyone have special plans?

My parents and I celebrate on Christmas Eve (usually by watching Christmas Story numerous times!) and on Christmas Day we all get together with my rather large family at an aunt's house. Hopefully we'll be able to leave because I live in the country and we may be snowed in.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all you wonderful Pi Phis! We, the 13 kids, and numerous boyfriends will celebrate at home starting with our traditional Christmas Eve clam chowder and services at church. Mr. Carnation and I will no doubt be up until 2 or 3 AM doing the Santa Claus routine and be up about 8 the next morning with kids everywhere. We'll go to our in-laws' house later and conclude with the wrapped gift exchange on Saturday night--we save some presents for that night.

Everybody stay warm and safe! May angels watch over you!

I hope everyone has a great holiday! Safe travels to all!

We just got home from celebrating with my in-laws and after work tomorrow we are headed to my parents along with my brother and his family where we will have a large dinner christmas eve, then church and the traditional stuff including our annual walk on the beach (rain or shine) on christmas day.

Happy holidays to all.

My you all be safe and happy.

We'll have Christmas dinner with my dad's side of the family since my mother's side is scattered all over the globe. Then on Boxing day (it's a Canadian/Brit thing...but who doesn't love an extra day off!? ) with my God-parents and we'll eat some more!

Hopfully I will be able to do all my baking tomorrow...help my mum with any last minute shopping she needs to do. Get all the presents wrapped and watch my favourite Christmas movie It's a Wonderful Life. If I'm really lucky A Christmas Carol starring Alistair Simms and A Christmas Story will be on (don't shoot your eye out anyone ).

Then on Christmas day, we'll do the present thing, I'll make some breakfast, help out with dinner, and then at 4:30pm we'll watch the World Junior Hockey championships and watch Canada kick some butt!

PPL and happy holidays!

Merry Christmas, sisters!

We have my grandma and aunt from VA out here in IA for Xmas.....tonight I will take my very observant Lutheran grandma to midnight mass at the prettiest Lutheran church in town.

No plans aside from the above. I'm just happy to be with my family at this time of year, and that we are all healthy.

Happy holidays and be safe!
Love,
Maggie
