ritual motivation

Hi,
I have been ritual at my chapter for a little while now and am astonished by the fact that my sisters do not really know the things they should know from seniors to new members (which is fine, we are going over it together when the new semester starts). We are having a chapter to go over it but no one seems motivated or interesting in knowing in and understanding it. It is what we were founded on and what we believe, it is so important to know; if not know completely, at least attempt to know. Do you have any suggestions on how to motivate the chapter?

Thank you!

Have you presented any of the Ritual programs in your handbook? Those are good ones. You can also check with your Province Director Collegians (PDC) and she can give you more ideas and/or programs. Also if you have a Leadership Consultant visit your chapter she can give you ideas (or even do a program for your chapter!).

sorry to barge in, but...

maybe instead of just presenting the "facts" you could have the chapter recall parts of the ritual and think/talk/ prepare a skit, etc about how they incorporate that part of ritual into their daily lives.
people tend to remember things better if they can relate it to something else.
