Question Apartment in D.C. metro

Greetings Sorors and all,
I'm moving to D.C. in August and I was wondering if anyone knew of any studios or 1 bedrooms in D.C. particulary near Howard. I'll be in D.C. next weekend so I would appreciate any info.
Thanks

Hey, I'm from MD and I would recommend that you find a place in either the suburbs of MD or VA, and take the Metro to campus. The area around HU isn't that nice(or that safe from what I seen) and the cost of living in DC is rather expensive. Hope I've been helpful.

Also I believe you can check www. apartmentguide.com, and it should give you some places that will fit the qualities that you are looking for in a place to stay.

Hi!
I live in the D.C metro area as well. Along with the great advice given to you already, you have one more option: There are a lot of beautiful, historic houses near Howard. Many people who live in these houses rent out their basements because they are actually like studio apartments! The basements have their own mailboxes and entrances. They also have bathrooms and kitchen areas, so you would never have to go upstairs. If this interests you, ads are placed every Sunday in The Washington Post.

Good Luck!!
