I did not assume that anyone was poking fun at
me. I just wondered if this was a follow-up to the discussion that ensued from Erik's comments about educators not being involved in the community and feeling like they wear a "hair shirt." Many people consider teaching a "bad job" because of the low pay and numerous extra hours which, in turn, result in outsiders often thinking that educators have "no lives." Hence, my question....
I have stand up for teachers.
They are helping to forge the future.
