Saginaw (MI) man in film today
A movie that portrays the dangers of college fraternity hazing will screen at 10 a.m. today at the Saginaw 8 theater complex on Kabobel near Bay in Kochville Township.
Saginaw's Jamar Humph-rey, 21, has a starring role in "Dying to Make a Change," an independent film. He is a junior majoring in education at Eastern Michigan University.
His parents are Tyronza Snowden, a Saginaw fire marshal, and Diane Humphrey Snowden, administrative assistant to the city manager.
The family's church, New Covenant Christian Center, rented the theater for a free movie showing.
