I will be visiting the Dallas area near the end of May-beginning of June. Will you PM me? I'd like to find out about things to do, the AA scene overall, etc.

Hi Sorors and GCdwellers ,

I just noticed that I asked for PMs (only). Actually, I am thinking of moving to Dallas and wanted to get your feedback on the area.

I know that it's at the southern end of tornado alley and I'm not really liking that too much. However, it seems like the cost of living is good and the job opps in my field may not be bad.

I've been reading about the plethora of shopping and the re-development of downtown.

Is there a large AA population? Do you like it there? What is there to do? Is it a place amenable to singles or mostly just families? Do you see the ratio of 9:10 AA men to women between 25-44 that is claimed about the city?
