Excellent idea to take this a step beyond the alcohol awareness programs that many Nationals have.

Having Greeks sharing information with other students can only help our image.

That is especially true on a campus where there has been a Greek-related alcohol death this year.

I will also ask that the Greek Life Moderators copy this thread to the Risk Management forum for people who may read it, but not this one.

ITs just PR . . . but I guess its harmless.

I believe some of the FIJI's at MIT were TIPS trained . . . when their pledge died of too much alcohol. I think in that case it just increased their liability.

TIPS meant they were certified to know better.

In this society, I can see how that could possibly happen. However, overall, I think that this would be a plus from the Risk Management and insurance standpoint.

Good PR is better than the opposite. Usually.
