DC Baseball team to be "Nationals"
(11/22/04) — If the move of the Montreal Expos is approved by baseball owners, the team will be renamed the Washington Nationals. Team colors will be red, white and blue. At a news conference today club president Tony Tavares said the team caps will have a script "W" and the team's secondary logo will feature an interlocking "DC."

The logo isn't much better. However, it seems like they're spending money on free agents, so maybe the team will end up being ok (even if he's throwing the money in all the wrong directions)?
