Email and Info

[1st Lady]

This is my first time posting on Greek Chat. I am a student at the Ohio State University and I am from the suburbs of Chicago. I will be going home for Memorial Day Weekend and would like to get in touch with some collegiate sorors. How do I get the email addresses of sorors who have mentioned they are from Chicago?

My email addy is in my profile. As far as other sorors in my chapter, there isn't a list of all of our email addresses, to keep the interests from hounding us but there is a publication made available through the Chicago Alumni chapter with all of our phone numbers and offered contact information specifically for Sorors. If you know anyone from Chi Alum, ask them to see their Red Book. If not, email me and I will try to hook ya up.

I can't help you with your request, but I do have a question that you may be able to answer. I noticed that you said you were a student at "the" Ohio State University. I have also noticed Chris Carter of the Minnesota Vikings call OSU "the" as well. Can you tell me the significance of the "the"? I've never heard another university referred to that way. Thanks for your help.

"The" adds DSTinction to the name. We say "The" as in the one, the only, The Ohio State University.

Usually, you will hear current students or OSU alumnae use this term.

(HaHa, soon, all 23 of my Sands will be on Greekchat!)

Alright, I am so jealous that y'all are meeting each other but it's all about FELLOWSHIP & that's a WONDERFUL thing! I love reading about it. It's kind of like that episode of Fresh Prince when his mom & aunts came to visit & he was jumping around when they were hugging & stuff (DIVAS!!) Anyway, I will be there as I said. I don't know what I am wearing yet..you know I have to be the bomb so I might just have to hit da mall on Serrrday. But, how about, in case we don't talk to each other before then, we just look for the magnifiscent Crimson and Cream...wherever that is, Deltas are sure to gravitate. Thanks Sands,

But actually The Ohio State University title was started by our former President Gee. He wanted to separate our school from Ohio University. At least thats what I was told.

Thanks to all the Chicago area Sorors who responded. Being a neo I'm still learning how this Delta Network thing really works and let me say I am very impressed. Is the step show at Loyola a family event? My mother who is also a Soror might like to come.
