Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason

It's going to be released a little earlier in some cities.

I'm looking forward to this movie.

I'm going to enjoy this movie.
As long as I shake out all knowledge of the novel (supposedly "loosely based" means they took the characters and that's about it).

I am really excited about this movie. I taking off those days to go visit friends, so I have already told them that they will be going to see it with me the day it opens.

I am hoping that despite it being based loosely on the book that I will still enjoy it. I loved the first one and that wasn’t entirely like the book either. I think they take the character and make new stories that are along the same lines.

Speaking of Bridget Jones- Who sings that song in the end of the first one that plays during the whole drama underware in the snow scene. I think its on the CD, but that verison sounds nothing like what they played in the movie (Ie its a woman singing on the cd, but not in the movie)

The song thats playing as she's running through the snow in her underwear at the end is a version of "aint no mountain high". I'm pretty sure that its a woman singing it in the movie.

I wonder how they're going to do the whole part in Book #2 where she interviews Colin Firth about his role in Sense and Sensability when he is ALREADY in the movie, playing the role of Mark D'arcy.

That's "Someone Like You" by Van Morrison. They put some version of a female singing it on the US soundtrack--but Van Morrison's version is on the import. Love that song.
