No More Mo - - Moesha that is
I was reading up on the new fall line up and there was mention that Moesha was calling it quits. Now if anyone saw the season finale this past Monday, we can see that Moesha is either pregnant or came to tell Daddy that she is moving in with Hakeem.
Here is the link but I want to know, WHYYYYYY?? Not that I love the show but it has its good moments.
Here are a couple of links about Fall Line up.

I read somewhere else that Kyla Pratt (young Monica in Love and Basketball) and Flex will be the dad/daughter team for the new Monday night show One on One.
What are your thoughts about Fall 2001 line up.

Well, personally, I agree that "Moesha" had it's moments (not that I particularly enjoyed the show either). There's just something about that "Miss Goody-Two-Shoes" Brandy that gets to me--not to mention her brother's character who seems to be TOO hardcore for me. So I guess that I can say that the cancellation of this show does not effect me one way or the other. On the same note, I'm just not understanding why in the world the UPN has made the decision to keep "The Hugleys" running. I mean, I haven't been really watching it, but from what I have managed to bring myself to watch, I just couldn't find anything FUNNY. DL Hugley is just not hitting on anything with this sitcom in my honeset opinion. Now the show called "Girlfriends" is similar to my take on "Moesha"---it has it's moments. These women make it seem as if African-American women are gold-digging, naive, stuck-ups (with the exception of the one that got married on the show---I like her). So by it airing again for the new season does not effect me one way or the other.
On a better note, I'm glad to see that Bernie Mac will have his own show on FOXX this season. I can't wait to see what's up with that. And the new show featuring Flex---well, I'll haveto wait and see. I'm thrilled to see that "The Parkers" will be returning mainly because Ms. Parker (Monique) is starting to show an interest in someone else (and boy is he FIIIINNNE) besides the Professor (I really can't see what the big deal is with him) And it looks as if the tables are starting to turn (now HE'S showing an interest in HER). So now I feel that it's time for HIM to do some chasing.
As for the rest of the line-up, I really don't know. Some stuff catches my eye, others don't.

WOW! Such HATING going on. The fact the Brandy is young, African-American, a woman, with some talent makes me tip my hat to her.
I do wish we would stop dogging each other.
I watched the season finale, and they left it wide open that it would be another season. Well I guess they didn't know.
I enjoyed Brandy, it was what it was, entertainment/comedy.

I am not hating on Brandy at all. I think she is talented both musically and acting. Sometimes her acting is a little off but I think her show was quality.
The season finale was one that made me look forward to next season only to find out a few days later that it would not be back. Makes me remember how Living Single had no series finale.

I think that Moesha was coming to tell her father that she was moving in with Hakeem. I think that the person who was pregnant was their roommate (Kim Field's sister) because if you remember, she was eating up a storm during that episode. Besides, if it really was Moesha, do you think she'd be running home to tell daddy so soon?
On another note, I think that it was time for Mo to go. It started to go downhill after it was revealed that "Dorian" was really her brother and not her cousin.

Messed up the other post somehow. But Living Single was one of my favorite shows.
I thought the season finale was when Regine was engaged to marry a millionaire. Maxine and Kyle got back together after they found out it was his baby.

Yeah but it seemed like more of a season finale you know instead of a series finale. I wanted a series finale like the Cosby Show.
