Kerry concedes
Kudos to John Kerry for acting in a dignified way.

Absolutely. I didn't get a chance to hear his speech, but his gracious concession should be the beginning of a reconciliation for our - all of our! - country!

yes.....i truly respect him for not dragging this out. the speech itself, i think, could have been more "thank you, it was a good fight, we had a good time, God bless America" than "we're still counting", but that's probably just me being an evil repub.
but yeah....way to not pull a gore.

As Rush said ...
Rush says:
"Kerry's concession speech is coming up at 1:00.
"Right in the middle of my program.
"Right where it should be."
Kerry should also repeat it in the middle of Sean Hannity's program too.

Sean Hannity is awesome. I'm glad to call him a fellow alumni (or is it alumnus).

Well, maybe one reason for that is that Kerry didn't win the popular vote.
Gore did.
One of four times in our history that the person who won the popular vote lost in the Electoral College. The other three were many years ago.
But that's just being technical.
I knew that accidental PolySci minor would do me some good someday.

Taken from an article on msnbc.com:
Quote:
“In America, it is vital that every vote count ... but the outcome should be decided by voters, not a protracted legal fight,” Kerry said
|
Major props to Kerry for that. Now if only his supporters could be as gracious....
