Beyond Borders!!!!
Hey Ladies two books that I have just finished reading! Check them out!! The Coldest Winter Ever By Sister Souljah and BLACKGAMMON By Heather Neff. This one is a must read. I am almost afraid to ask this question without forming a search first. If the answer is Yes Please send me to that forum. Are there any cyber book groups? If not anyone interested?

Put me down on the list for a cyber book club! I love to read. I know that with the summer coming up, I can finally dust off all of the books I have been "meaning" to read and finally get to it.

Hello Ladies!
This is great. If everyone could submit two book titles that they would like to read that would be great. Also Miss Nik and VctoriasSecrt could you send me your email address so that I can create a group mailing list. Also my school schedule is very light this spring and summer. I could committ to reading a book a week or should we allow more time. What are some suggestions? What are your schedules like? I take my finals next week. Wish me luck and Good luck to you too!!!

I can't do a book a week. My job already requires me to do tons of reading that I take home at times. I would need just a tiny bit more time , plus I travel a bit for my job.

I want to join too.
I love to read, I just finished "Mama Day" by the lady that wrote 'Women of Bruster Place'. It was a good book.
I know you all have read all of E. Lynn Harris books..ok
Questions: is it only for Black Authors or can we pick any book? Because I love Amy Tan (Joy Luck Club) and I have to get her new book 'The Bonediggers Daughter'(I think that's the tittle)
Romance or not? Sci-Fi or not?
let a sista know

Here are some titles that I am submitting for our first book!
1. flyy girl By. Omar Tyree
2. Kindered By. Octavia E. Butler
3. What looks like crazy on an ordinary day By. Pearl Cleage
4. Just as I am By. E. Lynn Harris (Don't laugh but I have only read one of his novels)
That's why I need some reading buddies.
5. tuesdays with Morrie By. Mitch Albom
6.Blackgammon By. Heather Neff
This was more than two I couldn't decide.
Suggestions from Group Members:
Sorority Sisters by Tajuana Butler
Sister Secrets by Breggie James
Nappy BY ?
Growing Up black and female in America by Aliona L. Gibson
Please continute to e-mail me your book titles
