I think its cool. From a professional standpoint, the only thing I'd reccomend is that after the countdown, you have the developer speed the purple intro way up. Its too slow. I think its great tho. Good luck and keep up the good work.

BTW, for content, just look at other LXA chapters websites and lift and modify from them instead of trying to write all your own stuff. We all basically sell the same product.

Thumbs up

Josh, looks good so far!

I think what EM1843 "iws tr" , oh talking about is spelling on "About", not "aboout", unless yaall talk different than the Continental USA! Or, you love earpspeak! LOL!

We just got ours back up, but as I tried to Explain, Pictures are Great, but load time sucks on a phone line hook up!

First off, tell the New Associate, He is doing a hell of a job! For Sure!

Contact Jon Sagara at the top of LXA Thread to add it to His Web Site. Make sure it is on LXA and Un. along with greekpages.com Web Site!

Use the Old KISS Principle, try to keep it Clean, succient, and easy to down load for New Possibles to see and Read it!

Promote yourselfs as Brothers who have something great to give, not sell!

Oh, what lifesaver said. Still check Jon Sagaras Web Site to get some good ideas from all of the Zetas!

Have room to run with it! Go Colony at UAA!

People go to websites to find something out. Therefore the key is information and content. Pretty pictures are pretty, but otherwise offer little insight. Don't concentrate on those. Same with music - I had to jump up and turn down my speakers rather quickly. I don't go to a chapter's website to hear music and I doubt anyone else does either.

Who will go there, and what will they be looking for? These are the questions you should be asking yourself. Put yourself in the postion of a visitor. Don't do something because you can; do something because you know someone will look for it.

Even though you're just getting started, it's not too early to guard against stagnation. Nothing says "neglect" like an out-of-date schedule! A visitor going to a site and seeing an event "this Saturday" - and it was three weeks ago or more, will immediately get the impression that the site is not maintained by anyone because nobody cares to update it. When an event is over, GET IT THE HELL OFF THERE as soon as possible. This is very important.

Otherwise, you're off to a good start. Yes, check your spelling and if you're not sure, ask Tom - like "iws tr". Not everyone knows how to spell that (ROTFLMAO!).

In ZAX,
Jono

Jono,

I don't know what you do for a living, but I bet it has something to do with web development. Very good comments. It's all about the content.

Josh, yepper, we have a New Associate who is working with the H A in the New Web Site.

Dang, they are good for something arent they!

Also got from Joel about the Situation you and I have talked about. Glad that is resolved!

Keep us updated with goings on at UAA. Wish I could be there for Your Chartering in the future!

Keep up the good work both of the Brothers on GC! J & J!

Difficulties with Nestscape

I use Netscape and there were difficulties in loading. IE worked just fine. The music seemed kind of funky, almost middle eastern. Load time was OK, but I'm on DSL. It has to be sized for dial-up.
