Close, but no cigar.

Actually, I kinda like it. No, it is not an exact duplicate carbon copy of our Coat of Arms, but all the essential symbols and colors are there, and in their proper positions. To that end, I am hard pressed to believe that this is our "worst" representation, especially considering that our Coat of Arms has been altered by several organizations and/or companies to be used as a template for theirs, real and fictional.
FWIW, this Coat of Arms has a certain sense of flair and finesse, particularly with the helmet and mantlings that helps make it stand out. Of course it in no way replaces our original Coat of Arms, but it is far from a "worst representation" either.
Of course, YMMV.

Well, to me at least one is severely out of position, the helmet is closed.
As for what is has been used for, I'm trying to remember. I know the key has been severely altered for Scouts Royale Brotherhood, and I think I posted here about a fictional one based on ours but beyond that, I'm not sure...

Well, one thing it says to me is that our company has a hard time writing words in any way other than completely horizontal.

I know that APO-Phil has actually sent out a reminder to the chapters not to "color in" the elements of coat of arms (the torch flames red, the trefoils green).

Reason: split quote.
