Badge on Ebay..Don't even try

Over priced Badge

Can we say this person has been bothered by some greek memebers about selling badges on ebay? (Granted I am sure some of them weren't very nice, but is it really necessary?)

Its also interesting that they are trying to sell this badge for more than 3x its real value. Like to see how many bids they do get, with the lack of info about they give.

Wow. Yea it's def pricey. I just love the description. "A great gift at a great price for the new initiate. A great item for a beginning collection. Something wonderful for you to purchase and donate to your national HQ because one of your sisters didn't read your bylaws or care enough to do so. I guess she felt that all those undergrad years of paying initiation fees, dues, etc., entitled her to do as she pleased with it. Reasonable reserve."

"NOTE:This item came into my possession because someone else was selling it or giving it away. So, at some point in the chain, someone made the choice to part with this badge. That's not my fault. It is a choice that each initiated Greek makes--either they keep the badge or they don't. Once they pass away, the family has the same choices. So don't waste your time e-mailing and citing your by-laws or to ask that it be "donated" or returned to the organization. "

Bitter much?

wddjr is a major collector and an even more major asshole.

He has used that same commentary on every badge he's tried to sell.

Yes, this guy is a MAJOR collector!! He can (and has in the past) out bid people at the last second!! Can't understand where he gets his prices. Maybe he plans to retire??

does he really price his badges that high typically? yeah, i was thinking of emailing that person and nicely informing them that the opening bid price was 3x's the actual value and most likely not the going rate for a sigma kappa badge when it comes to badge collecting, but decided not to waste my time. there's only 4hrs left on that auction and no bids so we'll see. i seriously doubt that anyone will buy it, but i'm willing to eat those words if it actually happens.
